Continued unrest in several English cities is the dominant topic in Wednesday's papers.
In the United States of America, many riots took place during the Civil War and which saw many lives lost. As years progressed, new types of riots emerged as well as their cause. In 1960’s, a new form of riots called urban Riots came in to being. In 1967 for instance, more than 120 cities in the U.S suffered more than 160 riots.

In the immediate aftermath of the riot, the England team cancelled the remaining games they were scheduled to play in Sydney. The incident also caused much press comment in England and Australia. On 29th of August, this incident sparked the 1958 race riots in Notting Hill. A Jamaican man was arguing with his white Swedish wife called Majbritt Morrison. This caused crowds surrounding the scene which made it easier for the white mobs to attack the Caribbean residents.
